‘My People’ was supposed to be part of the Windows 10 Creators Update, however, Microsoft delayed its release back in January. This feature will combine Mail, Skype, and social networks into a taskbar icon for each person, Microsoft says in the announcement blog post. Users will be able to drag and drop files to the taskbar, get unique notifications, and more. Now, this feature has reached Insiders thanks to the latest Windows 10 Preview Build. Here is what users can do with ‘My People’:

“Pin your people to the taskbar – we’ll suggest some to start with, or you can pick your own! (Note: you are currently limited to having 3 people pinned to your taskbar currently.) View multiple communication apps together and filtered to each person on your taskbar. Choose the app you want to use to chat and we’ll remember for next time.”

To get started with ‘My People’, go to the Windows Store and make sure you have all the latest updates for the Skype, Mail, and People apps. Then click on the People icon in the taskbar to activate the first run experience and get setup.

New experience for Gmail accounts

Back on February 23, we reported that Microsoft is preparing a big update for Gmail accounts. Windows Insiders will be the first to try out the new experience as Microsoft gradually rolls out these updates over the next few weeks. To receive these features, users will have to run Windows 10 Preview Build 16184. In addition, Microsoft has released Windows 10 Preview Build 15208 for Mobile. This Insider build includes several changes, improvements, and fixes for Mobile. For the full changelog, check Microsoft’s blog post.
